Face Halo, the modern makeup remover, which replaces up to 500 disposable makeup wipes is proud to announce its new Upcycling Program – leading the way in sustainable and ethical beauty.
Face Halo is non-toxic and reusable, removing makeup using water only. Reusable up to 200 wash cycles, each Face Halo replaces up to 500 makeup wipes or cotton pads. The HaloTech fibres work to gently clean and exfoliate the skin, simultaneously, trapping and removing makeup and other impurities. Non-toxic and gentle, Face Halo is pH neutral and chemically inert, perfect for all skin types including those with acne or eczema.
Face Halo is proud to introduce its new Upcycling Programme in Australia as part of its commitment to the innovative solutions that are better for your skin and kinder to the environment. Customers are now able to return their used Face Halos to be upcycled, further reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill. The brand plans to upcycle the pads in various ways starting in the motor vehicle industry (seat cushioning) and commercial transit (hard-wearing seat coverings).
In the past 12-months alone, Face Halo’s game changing makeup remover has replaced more than 370 million disposable makeup wipes that would have otherwise ended up in landfill.
“We are thrilled to be offering an Upcycling Programme, sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Face Halo and this program is a really important step for us. We are always pushing the boundaries through innovation, with a vision to eventually close the manufacturing loop.” Lizzy Pike, Face Halo Founder
