The GENESIS event concluded last night at Byron Kennedy Hall, Sydney where
talented top emerging designers showcased their collections over the three
day event. Katie Price and Brynne Eldesten were among the crowd in support
of Australian label Sistar shoes who held an exclusive runway show at last
night’s event. The new format GENESIS event combined a high-fashion runway
show with interactive stylised booths where guests were able to meet the
designers and experience the garments first hand.

Tuesday night’s VIP event saw Australia’s Next Top Model Judge, Didier Cohen
take to the stage as guest speaker while the night concluded with a snippet
of the Sistar Shoes couture collection. This star-studded event included
former Miss Universe Australia, Laura Dundovic who hosted the event on
Wednesday night while Natalie Chapman, who launched her collection at New
York Fashion Week, was last night’s guest speaker.

Sydney based fashion entrepreneurs Marvin Osifo & Eti Amegor established
Face Fashion in 2007. The aim was to provide a platform for fresh emerging
labels to introduce themselves to the competitive Australian fashion

“For the past 6 years we have been passionate about discovering Australia’s
upcoming talent and exhibiting them in high-end contemporary events for all
to enjoy” says Marvin Osifo.

To celebrate the success of the GENESIS event Face Fashion will be hosting
the official after party at Hugo’s Lounge tonight from 7:00pm. Complimentary
pizza and drinks will be served between 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
