The CRUISE BAR invited Sydney Social 101 to attend the official VIP media launch on 22nd May in celebration of their nautical inspired revamp of Level 1 and the Asian inspired Tanqueray Botanical Lounge the NEW pop-up created specifically for VIVID 2015, upstairs on Level 2.
The Tanqueray Botanical Lounge was themed with colourful parasols, and ruby red lanterns illuminating the space with their seducing warmth.We enjoyed some sensational canapes and cocktails whilst enjoying Sydney’s premier views of the Opera House and the city lights for VIVID 2015.

There was a choice of two cocktails – the Ship Break Highball and the Five Spice Negroni. Our favourite cocktail was the Ship Break Highball cocktail; which has a delicious blend of lychee, Tanqueray, macadamia, dill and Yuzu! The canapes included Peking Duck Spring Roll, Torched Salmon, Panko Crumbed 3 cheese Arancini, Mushroom risotto and Apricot Beignet. Make sure you try the Panko Crumbed 3 cheese Arancini as they were delicious!
It was a great night and we can’t wait to visit again! The Tanqueray Botanical pop-up is now open till Monday 8th June 2015. It’s free to enter, and open nightly from 5pm until late, the Tanqueray Botanical Lounge’s exotic-cool mix of cocktails, great food and top DJ talent makes this the spot for groups to gather and soak up the VIVID atmosphere all night long.
