To celebrate one year of flourishing business at their iconic Bondi Beach location, Beach Fit recently celebrated the milestone with loyal clients, Bondi locals and devoted celebrities.
Beach Fit Bondi is a health and fitness destination loved by locals, casual visitors, fitness fanatics and celebrities alike. To celebrate the first birthday, Beach Fit Bondi held an open day for the entire community with a range of brands joining the event to celebrate all things health, fitness and wellness. The popular fitness destination also celebrated the official opening of their new custom designed F45 Training Bondi training space, located directly above the gym.
Laura Csortan (Presenter) and Rodney O (KISS FM) hosted the successful event. Guests in attendance included Kristian “Krit” Shmidt (MTV Presenter), Jye Emdur (DJ/Model), Lisa Clark (Big Brother), Jade Albany (Model/Personal Trainer) and some of the beauties from The Bachelor including Bec Chin, Jacinda Guglienino and Zilda Williams.
The day was filled with complimentary back-to-back F45 Training classes as well as health and wellness product giveaways from Sumo Salad and their new Cold Pressed Juices, Chobani, The Chai Room, Chief Bars, and Curo Water. Health Space also set up two massage tables for guests to enjoy massages before or after their workout. Guests also walked away with gift bags filled with various health and fitness products that are sure to keep workout motivation levels high.
Beach Fit Bondi’s main sponsor is Mr. Pink, who provided their health and wellness ginseng beverage to all fitness goers to keep their energy levels up all day.

Summer is fast approaching – what are your top tips for a fit body?
My top tips for a fit body are: Stay hydrated, drink 2-3 litres of water a day, high intensity weight training, as it helps burn fat whilst building muscle. Stay consistent with your diet as this is key. You cannot out train a bad diet.
What’s your suggestion for breakfast?
For breakfast I like to have egg white omelet with mushrooms and capsicum with a side of avocado and salmon.
If you only have 30 mins in the morning, what would you suggest in terms of exercise?
I would do a full body circuit workout consisting of compound lifts such as squats, deadlifts, bentover rows as well as some rowing and sprints.
Tell me about Beach Fit, what’s your philosophy?
BeachFit Bondi is more than just a gym, it’s like a small community where everyone knows your name and is there to help you. They have all the equipment you need from powerlifting, bodybuilding, cross fit and your daily cardio machines. It’s my favourite place to train as you can also finish your workout then walk straight to the beach.
How did Beach Fit come to be?
BeachFit is the brainchild of Marc and Paul Dias, Pete Haselhurst and Jason Zamit. They saw that Bondi Beach was lacking a gym in the area, so they went hunting for a space and came across the site we are currently at. They spent six long months building a space that fits the area and out sourcing the best trainers we could offer our clients.
Where’s your favourite place to eat in Sydney?
My favourite place to eat is Maceleria on Campbell Pde. My go to healthy meal is two pieces grilled chicken breast and the incaberry salad.
