G&Tea – The Star Sydney’s “teahouse by day, gin bar by night” – is helping Sydneysiders get into the
Christmas spirit with a limited-edition Elf on the Shelf high tea menu for the month of December.

Settled amongst the plush navy and rose velvet chairs, marble benchtops and golden lighting that perfectly combine the classic English rituals of afternoon tea with a contemporary flair, diners can enjoy freshly baked scones with house made seasonal berry jam and King Island creme fraiche alongside a carefully curated set menu of bite-sized takes on our favourite sweet and savoury festive menu staples.

Diners will enjoy a selection of hot and cold savoury bites. There’s double-smoked maple-glazed ham finger sandwiches with camembert & cranberry relish and mini field mushroom & chestnut wellingtons as well as confit duck croquettes with smoked apricot chutney, and fresh crunchy king prawn and avocado cucumber rolls.

Those with a sweet tooth can also indulge in fruit mince pies, traditional bûche de Noël, cherry and darkchocolate tortes, pear and yuzu bavarois with spiced honey biscuit, mini traditional plum puddings bathedin brandy anglaise, and teacup blackcurrant and white chocolate fruit trifles. The sweet treats on off are not only delicious but are pieces of culinary art.

Guests can enjoy their high tea with a range of bottomless tea varieties or a cup of your favorite caffeine hit. Add Sparking Wine for $10 or Champagne for $20 per person.

G&Tea’s Elf on the  Shelf Christmas high tea will be available to book for $90per person between 12pm and 4pm from Thursday to Sunday each week until Christmas Day.
