Sydney dining institution, Aria, has expanded its offering beyond the dining room, introducing a casual menu of seasonal snacks that is available exclusively from Aria’s sophisticated bar area.

Located in the heart of Circular Quay, Aria is renowned as one of Sydney’s premium fine-dining restaurants, recently celebrating its 20 year anniversary. The new bar menu, a first for Aria, will offer an alternative to its traditional dining experience, allowing diners to pop in without a reservation and enjoy snacks by executive chef Joel Bickford and a cocktail or glass of wine from Aria’s highly-awarded wine list, curated by head sommelier Alex Kirkwood.

The elegant and moody bar area, furnished with low chairs and soft lighting, offers guests an intimate yet casual atmosphere to begin or cap off their night. Highlights from the bar menu include a crisp wagyu toastie with dill pickles and house mustard as well as crab sandwiches with tarragon and lettuce heart that see away with the need for cutlery. Whipped cod roe and caviar is served with a charcoal cracker, snapped to share at the table. With dishes ranging in price from $6 – $25, the a la carte bar menu will allow guests to experience the delicate and creative seasonal flavours of Aria in a relaxed setting.

In addition to an extensive cocktail menu, Aria has one of the largest wine lists in the country, with more than 80 wines by the glass and 1700 bottles on offer that can be expertly paired with this new menu.

Aria’s bar menu is available every day from 5.30pm to 11:00pm on a walk-in basis only.
