Kogarah Clubhouse, formerly known as Kogarah RSL Club, has unveiled a new look following a long- anticipated redevelopment. Established in 1947, the iconic southern Sydney RSL has been proudly serving the local community of Kogarah for over 60 years.
Kogarah Clubhouse launched in September 2019, bringing with it the arrival of a new drinking, dining and social hub. Comprised of three, contemporary venues – The Pearl Asian Eating House, Blake Street Kitchen and a revived Clubhouse Bar – Kogarah Clubhouse now serves as a destination venue offering entertainment and dining options for locals and visitors alike.
With a focus on catering to a new, discerning diner (whilst still retaining its status as a local’s favourite), Kogarah Clubhouse has perfected the blend between value and choice, offering a host of new dining options across multiple in-house venues – each with its own playful identity. For die-hard RSL fans, fear not – club favourites have not been forgotten and the essence of community and club spirit is still at the helm!
The Clubhouse Bar
The Clubhouse Bar is the main social hub at the heart of the new redevelopment. Offering a welcoming, sophisticated space with high, exposed ceilings and curved architecture, members and guests can grab a drink in the company of family and friends and enjoy a light snack from the bar menu. For any major sporting events, the adjoining Sports Lounge offers multiple screens and comfortable seating.
Blake Street Kitchen
Blake Street Kitchen, an all-day modern eatery serving from dawn to dusk, offers up breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes with a distinctly low-key vibe. The vast dining space features a variety of long feasting tables for shared dining, elevated seating and cosy nooks for casual eats. The new menu features a wave of classic club meals and gastro-pub fare including an all-day breakfast menu, salads, burgers, schnittys, steaks and market fish. Open from 7am daily, Club sign-in on entry is not required.
The Pearl Asian Eating House

Differentiating itself from a typical run-of-the-mill RSL, all members and guests to Kogarah Clubhouse can now enjoy a feast from the east at The Pearl Asian Eating House. Featuring a myriad of seating options, a private dining area for larger groups, live seafood tanks and a menu showcasing authentic Asian flavours with a contemporary, modern twist – The Pearl is a welcome addition to Kogarah’s flourishing dining scene. Head Chef, Xiaodong Wu, who brings a wealth of experience in traditional Cantonese cuisine, has created an exciting, contemporary Chinese menu that takes ‘Club Chinese’ to soaring new heights.

Albeit housed within sparkly new premises, Kogarah Clubhouse, along with the arrival of Blake Street Kitchen, The Pearl Asian Eating House and revived Clubhouse Bar, still maintain the ethos and history of its former RSL Club namesake. The Clubhouse sits proudly at the heart of the Kogarah community and serves as a new space for entertainment and dining – with an inclusive message of open to all. From dusk ‘til dawn and beyond, Kogarah Clubhouse is south Sydney’s newest drinking, dining and social hub, where people can connect and create new memories together, under one roof.
