This month, restaurateur Ussi Moniz Da Silva has launched his long awaited restaurant venture, Meu Jardim, continuing in his passion to introduce unique spaces to the Sydney dining scene.

Moniz Da Silva’s passion for French cuisine and futuristic architecture has come to life in Meu Jardim. The unique 340-seat venue boasts a variety of sleek, white interiors intertwined with bespoke architectural design, highlighting the natural elements of fire and water. The impressive $4.1 million fit out is one of a kind, emphasising the use of premium products in both bar and kitchen to deliver a tantalizing culinary and beverage experience like no other.

Upon arrival, guests are met with an impressive waterfall set alongside an oyster shucking station to kick off the gourmet journey. For those after a more casual dining experience, they’re invited to relax at the bar downstairs next to the indoor fire pit while enjoying tapas-style share plates from Meu Jardim’s extensive bar menu.

If you’re after a more indulgent experience, head upstairs to the formal restaurant space to try the decadent menu co-curated by Jason McCauley, Executive Chef. Taking an innovative approach to French cuisine, the menu boasts a range of mouth-watering dishes that are perfectly complemented with Meu Jardim’s premium selection of wines and a long list of contemporary cocktails.

For an entrée, the W.A Lobster Tail and Escargot served with a delicious combination of garlic and butter are must-tries. Popular mains include the succulent Duck A L’orange and the exquisite Tajima Wagyu Striploin. For groups, the Lamb Shoulder is perfect for sharing – served with mint yoghurt, goat’s cheese and roast vegetables. Ending on a sweet note, treat yourself to one of Meu Jardim’s delectable desserts – whether you’re in the mood for a fruity Raspberry Bavarois, or if you’re a chocolate connoisseur then you can’t go past the devilish Milk Chocolate Mousse.
