Mille Uno brings incredibly delicious authentic Southern Italian cuisine to Parramatta. The home-style restaurant  on Church street has been making a splash on the Sydney dining scene with it’s twist on home-cooked, traditional Italian fare and it is a must-visit for visitors and Parramatte locals alike.

The menu features all the classic favourites including delicious starters, endless options of pasta, a sumptuous array of pizzas and authentic, home style gnocchi and classic Italian desserts. Must try starters include Woodfired caramelised garlic bread, Five spices dusted squid, house chilli mayo and Garlic and chilli prawns, grilled sourdough. For mains try the pasta Nonna meatballs, 4 pc meatballs cooked in rich tomato sauce; the Vegana pizza with tomato sauce, eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, mushrooms, olives; the Veal Funghi cooked with sliced button mushrooms, champignons, & shallots in a white wine crème sauce and potato puree; or the Chicken Parmigiana topped with eggplant, basil, napolitana & mozzarella cheese. Make sure you save room for dessert as you do not want to miss Mille Uno’s  classic tiramisu, ricotta cake or panna cotta.

Mille Uno also features an extensive wine and cocktail list. The signature cocktail ‘One in a Mille,’ is a delightful concoction of Tequila, grapefruit, elderflower, and burnt rosemary. The bar is also stocked with local and Italian beer and wine, plus Bellinis are always made to perfection.

The team at Mille Uno are an absolute standout with the kitchen team featuring 2018 My Kitchen Rules semi-finalist brothers Nic and Josh Sama. Nic and Josh grew up in Southern Italy before moving to Sydney. Nic tells us how excited they are to be working at Mille Uno, ‘We both have a real passion for Italian food and culture,’ He says, ‘Plus we love people, and our parents even own a restaurant in Sydney, it’s all in our blood!’

When dining at Mille Uno you can expect an affordable, home-style atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner, lunch with the in-laws or a casual after-work bite. Diners love the relaxed vibe and the staff love to give you a taster of something delicious. Food ingredients are fresh, locally sourced where possible and full of flavour.
