So, maybe you haven’t been able to jaunt off to Italy for a spring fling, but you can still enjoy a little Italian primavera closer to home with new seasonal menu additions and refreshing punch bowl cocktails at Fratelli Fresh.

The Spring Fling selection is available on the à la carte menu at Fratelli Fresh Crows Nest, Darling Harbour, Entertainment Quarter, Miranda and Manly from Thursday, 17 September until mid-November.

Sydney Social 101 recently popped in to try the new spring menu at Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour! We were very warmly welcomed by the friendly team and shown to our table in the plant filled outdoor dining area. We kicked off our feast with a spring inspired sparkling punch bowl cocktail. We had the berry delicious Gin Berry Bliss which is filled with fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, gin and Prosecco. Fruity, refreshing and full of flavor this shared cocktails is not to be missed.

To start, we shared an array of delicious treats. First we had twelve incredibly fresh Sydney Rock oysters served with lemon and red wine mignonette. Next we indulged in the crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside Fried zucchini flower, stuffed with lemon, ricotta and goats cheese and also the fresh and flavoursome straciatella, heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, fresh oregano and mint serves with fresh out of the oven bread.

For mains (I can’t believe we could fit in mains either!), we shared the Saffron risotto, scallops, prawns, mussels, calamari, cherry tomatoes, parsley and the Gnocchi, wild forest mushrooms, watercress, parsley, thyme, parmesan. Both mains were incredible! Huge portions, full of flavour but not too heavy and perfectly cooked with lots of the prime ingredients ( The risotto was absolutely full of seafood!).

Perfect for a long lunch with friends or a romantic dinner with that special someone, the new spring menu at Fratelli Fresh is a must try! Check out the full menu below.
