Located at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden is the must-try The Potager. Offering unforgettable meals alongside breath-taking views, The Potager is open for both breakfast and lunch from Wednesday through to Sunday. The extensive and fresh menu caters for all including vegos, vegans and gluten-frees and utilities local produce where possible.

The breakfast menu features sumptuous dishes including a Vegetarian Breakfast of wilted kale & roasted cauliflower salad on a bed of hommus with a poached egg, spicy avocado cream and puffed rice with fresh lemon; a Breaky Burger filled with a truffle oil, spanish onion and charred grilled capsicum omelette with a grilled haloumi and roquette salad on a brioche roll finished with house made tomato relish; and for those with a sweet tooth there’s Pancakes with berry mascarpone and maple syrup, finished with fresh berries & icing sugar.

The lunch menu features equally mouth-watering dishes including Grilled Baby Barramundi on a bed of crisp fennel, cabbage & apple slaw & apple aioli;  Mediterranean Chicken served with a cous cous salad of olives, onion, char grilled capsicum, grilled eggplant, finished with fresh parsley & balsamic reduction and for those who are vegetarian there is a Vegetarian Salad on the menu which includes freekeh, honey baked pumpkin, feta, roquette, toasted walnuts, blistered tomato’s, shaved radish & vinegarette. (Yep! It is very hard to choose what to order!)

Boasting a stunning terrace with overhanging Wisteria vines and picturesque views of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, The Potager is the perfect place for a meal before or after a wonder around Botanic Gardens.

 

The interior at The Potager usses natural and soft colour tones together with understated furnishing and delicate decorative items to provide a synergy between the natural surrounds of the Botanic Garden and cafe restaurant interior. The Potager Mount Tomah pays homage to the bountiful surrounds through both the decor and the kitchen offering.

Besides the beautiful dining offering, the venue is fully licensed and available to hire for all events, including weddings. With a love and understanding for the differing tastes of all, The Potager offers a variety of food and beverage packages for events that can be tailored to each party with the inclusion of; canapés, grazing menus and alternate serves. Beverage packages are also available in a variety of ranges from basic to superior.  With beautiful areas available both indoor and outdoor, and a maximum seated capacity of 160 or cocktail style for 250, The Potager caters for all events, large and small.
