Sydney Social 101 attended the fun field Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere on Sunday 19th April at Hoyts – The Entertainment Quarter.

I’m a massive fan of all the Marvel films and when I found out that we had been invited to the premiere of their latest movie I was so excited. Sydney Social 101, Marvel fans and celebrity guests were among the first in the world to view the film, releasing one week ahead of the US, which is super exciting for all Australian Marvel fans.

Celebrity guests arrived to an action-packed super hero red carpet; with Audi ‘Stark’ vehicles including the sleek Audi R8.

We got to watch guest transform themselves into Tony Stark’s alter ego, Iron Man, with extraordinary augmented reality technology, where we saw the users wearing the armour and battling evil forces. They were also able to be a super hero with ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Be the Super Hero’, where they tested their Asgaardian strength by trying to lift Thor’s hammer.

They were also able to jump on Captain America’s Harley-Davidson Bike with his iconic shield in hand. Some (including myself) were able to battle friends with the ultimate super hero battle – Hulk vs Hulkbuster before taking a snap with the giant 3.3m Hulkbuster.

Even though Thor was unable to attend the premiere, his life-like Madame Tussauds wax figure did attend. Chris Hemsworth (Thor) also did an introduction to the movie.IMG_9538

Marvel’s red carpet was oozing with glamour, our favourite was Aisha Jade (Big Brother 2014 Housemate) she looked stunning. Here’s just a few of the special guests who attend the epic Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere, Simon and Shannon Voss (The Block), Charlie Clausen (Home and Away), Krit (MTV VJ), Ben Mingay (Wonderland), Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle (MTV Georgie Shore star), Zoe Cross (Model) and Emma Lung (Wonderland).

We don’t want to say too much as we don’t want to spoil it for the Marvel fans who haven’t had the chance to see it yet, but what I am going to say is Avengers: Age of Ultron in 3D is one of the best 3D films I’ve seen in a while; it was an action packed movie and you were never left feeling bored.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is in cinemas now.

We’d love to know what you thought of Avengers: Age of Ultron, leave us a comment or tweet us @Sydneysocial101
