The cinemas provides access to outdoor screenings that goes beyond the bog-standard movie showing as an exciting festival-style program of food and films is revealed. Don’t forget its dog friendly too, so your four legged friend needn’t stay at home (unless it’s a cat – sorry guys).

Coming in strong, and not for the faint hearted, this year’s program will kick off with a special Halloween screening of the terrifying IT Chapter 2.

Not one to put itself into a box, the program will play host to an exciting mix movies such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (1.11), along with highly anticipated new releases including Hustlers (15.11, 21.11, 1.12) Joker (8.11, 17.11) and Zombieland: Double Tap (24.11, 29.11).

Great for families too, both bit and little kidskin sit back and enjoy family-friendly films including The Lion King (2.11), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (16.11) and Abominable (9.11).

Fans of cult classics can vote for the movie they want to see on the big screen on November 27th, with the options including memorable movies such as Clueless, Mean Girls, 10 Things I Hate About You and more.

The popular Canberra-based food truck Mr Papa will make its way from the capital to delight moviegoers with delicious Peruvian eats including loaded fries, street burgers and epic grazing platters.

As the venue is fully-licensed (meaning no BYO) Giesen Wines, 4Pines beers, PIMMS and Enjoy Water, will be providing the refreshments.

Bringing the fun to Wednesday evenings, Wine Wednesdays are now a thing! Every Wednesday, guests can sample the full range of Giesen Wines for FREE (up to 8 different varieties) to pair perfectly with a selection of rom-coms.

The festival atmosphere will be in full swing every weekend with live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films light up the big screen.

Tickets start at $17 and are on-sale now via: openaircinemas.com.au

Pyrmont is the first Sydney stop of the tour before the screen pops up at the University of Sydney early January and Bondi Beach early February. Sydney is the fourth stop of the Trans-Tasman American Express Openair Cinemas tour which will go on to captivate audiences in Canberra, Auckland and Christchurch.
