Feeling the heat?

Until the 28th January, Riviera at Opera Bar will transform the waterfront bar into a European getaway, an Italian paradise tucked underneath those iconic shells.

Sit back and relax next to the Peroni bar in the Italian inspired garden, and join your friends for a low-key game of Bocce, the Italian cousin of Bowls.

Opera bar have created an Italian inspired drinks menu, complete with suggested food and wine pairings. Grab a charcuterie board with two Peronis for $44, or a thin and crispy Prosciutto pizza with a draft Peroni for $28.OperaBarItalianRiveria-62

The iconic Italian beer has also been incorporated into the bar’s cocktail menu, with two refreshing mixes on offer. The Italian Rumble sees Havana 7 year old rum, vanilla and fresh lime paired with the beer, and the Peroni Spritz takes the classic Aperol Spritz but raises it to a new level with that extra flair of the nastro azzuro.

Not feeling the beer? The team have also come up with two new cocktails featuring Redbull, when the sun is getting too much and you need a wake up call! The Royal Buzz mixes passionfruit, the raspberry tang of Chambord, vodka and Redbull, and this summer’s ubiquitous cocktail, Aperol Spritz, gets another make-over in the Summer Spritz, which combines orange, Aperol and Redbull.

And if the heat is really getting too much for you, you can always pick up one of their two new frozen cocktails, a thirst quenching Watermelon Daiquiri, or a tropical Spiked Frosty Fruit.

The bar will of course feature it’s standard food and drink menu if you like to stick you to what you know and can’t resist those iconic offerings!

There will also be live music daily. More details can be found out at operabar.com.au

The Riviera at Opera Bar is the ideal place to sit and escape the heat, catch up with friends or spend an hour after work hoping a trip to Italy is on the cards this year.

Ciao!

Times: Opera Bar will be open from 8am Monday to Friday,
