In celebration of World Whiskey Day on May 20th, critically-acclaimed Buffalo Trace
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is throwing the ultimate bourbon-and-beef-filled
pub feast at the Robin Hood Hotel, guaranteed to excite whiskey & food lovers alike.
For two nights only – May 16th and May 23rd – spirits fans are invited to mark their
calendars for some whiskey business at these exclusive events. Diners are in for a dram
good time with a delicious 3-course pub feed alongside a tasting of the special Buffalo
Trace “Quartet” – featuring Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Bourbon,
Sazerac 6 Year Old Rye, and Weller Special Reserve Wheated Bourbon.
Guests will be treated to guided tastings from Buffalo Trace’s whiskey experts, which
will be served alongside a mouth-watering menu Robin Hood Hotel has whipped up
that’s set to hit all the right whiskey notes:
* Kicking off the feast a grazing platter is deliciously loaded with a range of
cured meats, cheese, pickles and condiments that will have you reaching
for the next sip! A match made in heaven with Buffalo Trace Bourbon’s
trademark butterscotch notes or Sazerac 6 Year Old Rye’s spicy and herbal
profile.
* For the main course, a mouth-watering Jack’s Creek Black Angus Rump
Steak served with a signature Buffalo Trace Bourbon peppercorn
sauce and crispy chips to boot. The savouriness of the dish coupled with the
lingering honey-suckle sweetness of Weller Special Reserve is a winning
combination.
* For dessert, indulge in the Buffalo Trace Banoffee Pie layered with Buffalo
Trace Bourbon infused salted caramel, fresh banana, vanilla cream and dark
chocolate while sipping on single barrel Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Bourbon.
The event is priced at only $55 (plus booking fee) for a full night of world class whiskey,
