It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Paddington Markets is hosting a twilight Christmas Market on Thursday 18th December. Held around the historic building of Paddington Uniting Church.

 

The Christmas market will feature handpicked local designers selling unique, handcrafted items- arts and crafts, fashion and children’s stocking fillers. You can also stock-up on gourmet treats with Pudding Lane selling traditional Christmas puddings, among other stalls selling a range of sweet and savoury goods, perfect as a gift, or to add to your Christmas lunch.

 

Stall highlights include:

 

Paddington Uniting Church will be operating an ‘Everything in Common’ stall, which will be selling a range of gifts that help feed the hungry, give sight to the blind, free the captives and bring good news to the poor. Gifts range in price and region, from four chickens to support a sustainable livelihood in Zimbabwe, to eye care for five people in Vanuatu. Each gift, no matter how big or small, will work towards building a better future for people struggling in undeveloped countries.

Samantha Robinson- Samantha Robinson’s exclusively handmade pieces are ideal for gifts, including everything from lights to teacups, watermelon bowls and a stunning range of porcelain furniture.

 

Live Art Studios- Creator, Melinda White, specialises in artistic images of Sydney City and the surrounding beaches and bays. You can choose from high quality photographic prints in acid-free mat boards ready to frame or you can buy beautiful framed prints in various different sizes.

 

Beau Wylie Illustrations– Sydney-based artist Beau Wylie produces a wide range of Christmas cards and art prints inspired by slippery squids, squeaky old bikes, hearty meals, runny paints, frothy dark beers and the whimsy of life. Beau Wylie Illustrations are playful, enchanting, silly and sometimes a little melancholic.

 

Kor Creations– Using organic materials, Lisa creates beautifully unique resin jewellery with native grasses, foliage, flowers and shells; seamlessly integrated into resin. Each piece of handmade jewellery created is a tribute to the majestic beauty and strength of Mother Nature.

The Puppet Shop– Puppet master Phillip, will be selling his range of incredible handmade wizards, skeletons, soldiers, jesters and spooky Chinese puppets that the kids will just love.

 

Remedica- Specialising in 100% Australian Made luxury natural and organic skin care utilising exquisite and unique ingredients from around the world including exotic Monoi de Tahiti, and genuine and authentic African Fair trade organics from West and East Africa for manufacture in Australia.

 

When you need a break from shopping, visitors can listen to local musician Trevor Brown, and have a bite to eat from a range of authentic food stalls offering locally produced food and wine; including Belly Bao, serving their delicious handcrafted, freshly steamed buns with mouth-watering premium fillings. Spuntinella will provide quality salads, coffee, and cakes. Cheveat Estate Wines and Sofi Spritz will be selling bottled boutique wines and spritzers- a perfect gift idea.
