In 2024, So Frenchy So Chic, Australia’s beloved celebration of French culture, will make its triumphant return for its 13th edition. In the enchanting month of January, SFSC will unfold in a delightful new setting: Centennial Park in Sydney on January 20, while Melbourne will continue the festivities at the historic Werribee Park Mansion on January 14.
So Frenchy So Chic has forged a profound connection between France and Australia through a full-day summer festival devoted to the Art of Living. This celebration encompasses all things French: contemporary music, culinary delights, fashion, conviviality, and, of course, an abundance of Champagne.

In 2024, So Frenchy So Chic will elevate the experience with additional programming and workshops for festival-goers. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the world of wines with the former sommelier of France Soir, explore the art of ceramics through hands-on studio sessions, engage in a thrilling petanque tournament with fantastic prizes, or even embark on a 30-minute masterclass in the French language.
All workshops and activities are included with general admission tickets, and more surprises await, with further announcements scheduled for December 1st.
The festival caters to families as well, offering a variety of kid-friendly activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, magic and mime classes, and music initiation.
Fresh from France’s vibrant summer festival scene, headline acts like La Femme, Kill The Pain, Laure Briard, and Malo’ will perform live, transforming Australia’s most sophisticated picnic into an unforgettable garden soiree.
So Frenchy So Chic will also welcome some of Melbourne and Sydney’s finest dining establishments, including Frederic’s, Hotel Gitan, Loulou, and Bouillon Entrecôte. Guests can anticipate a curated selection of French classics, including oysters, macarons, mitraillettes, mussels, ratatouille, brioches, crepes, chocolate eclairs, steak frites sandwiches, croque monsieurs, almond duck liver parfait macarons, and much more.
Complementing this delectable cuisine will be a carefully curated collection of French and local wines, with a special highlight on Champagne Lanson, effervescent treasures from one of France’s oldest Champagne Houses.
