Australia’s largest body piercing and jewellery retailer SkinKandy has announced  that the company will have all stores open across the country by June 13 in line with the COVID-19 three-stage roadmaps released by each state.

SkinKandy stores in New South Wales will resume full piercing services on June 13. In addition, the company intends on pushing ahead with its expansion plans, with a new store opening at Westpoint Shopping Centre in Sydney on June 19th and to celebrate, the store is offering two for one piercings for the first three days of trade. Further new store opening dates and locations will be announced at a later date.

SkinKandy is committed to delivering safe and healthy piercing practices, with 100+ highly trained expert piercing specialists completing additional COVID-19 training to compliment the mandatory Infection and Prevention course all staff are all currently required to complete across the country.

Moreover, SkinKandy staff will continue to enforce strict hygiene practices that are already part of the company’s daily practice. This will include practicing social distancing between clients in store and
increased disinfecting of all surfaces including client chairs, floors, jewellery cabinets and all equipment. Hand sanitiser will also be readily available upon entry and exit throughout each of the stores and we will be adhering to all customer limits by state.
