This June and July, Modern Australian restaurant, Drake Eatery will celebrate three years in Bondi with a series of dedicated Duck and Pinot nights.
Drake Eatery will offer the perfect winter hideaway, delivering the ultimate comfort food combination, a weekly duck special and glass of selected red for $35.
Held every Tuesday evening from 5 June – 31 July, the Duck and Pinot nights will hero owner and head chef, Ian Oakes’ favourite protein, duck, along with a handpicked selection of Pinot Noir from some of Australia’s top winemakers. The menu line-up will kick off with a confit duck salad with pear, blue cheese and walnuts. To follow, there will be hearty dishes including duck dumplings in broth, duck pie and duck ragu. Taking inspiration from across the globe, Ian’s one-off dishes will continue with crispy duck legs with blood orange and szechuan salt, duck ramen, duck schnitzel and duck cassoulet.
Situated on the corner of Curlewis and Gould Street, in the heart of Bondi Beach, Drake Eatery celebrates seasonal, local and sustainable produce. A relaxed menu sees brunch favourites of Avocado on chargrilled sourdough and Toasted crumpet with Bondi honey, ricotta banana and walnuts alongside lunch and dinner highlights of Thyme Gnocchi, golden raisins, hazelnuts, mushrooms + Gippsland blue and Chargrilled Kobe Wagu +7 rump cap, king brown mushrooms and teriyaki.
