Fratelli Fresh is bringing Sydney’s favourite, family-friendly Italian eatery and one of the city’s best happy hours to the beach-side suburb of Manly on Wednesday, 1 July, perfectly timed to celebrate the continued easing of dining restrictions across New South Wales.

Located on West Esplanade, at the coveted, ex-Criniti’s corner spot opposite Manly Wharf, Fratelli Fresh Manly will open at 12pm, ready for a five-day week schedule of affordable lunch and dinner services, a fabulous happy hour from 4pm to 6pm on weekdays, and a daily kids eat free menu for those under the age of 12.

Fratelli Fresh Manly is a place for everyone, accommodating 180 guests, including 110 in a covered, al fresco dining area that wraps around the façade of the spacious restaurant.

Fratelli’s a la carte menu is the ultimate, seasonal, movable feast, including a selection of antipasti and hand-tossed, Neapolitan pizzas with vegan cheese and gluten-free bases available. Signature pasta dishes include silken linguine laced with fresh seafood, pappardelle and rigatoni sauced with tender, slow-cooked, meats, and pillows of soft gnocchi. Guests can substitute pasta for zoodles, the perfect, healthy, gluten-free zucchini pasta. The menu also spans a range of salads and side dishes.

Guests with a sweet tooth can indulge in house-crafted dolce, or desserts. Best-sellers include signature banoffee torta and creamy tiramisu. Those who enjoy their ice cream the Italian way can savour a scoop, or a few, of house-made gelato from a rainbow of flavours, including Snickers, black forest and Nutella.

Weekday happy hour offers a selection of antipasti for $5 each, including calamari, bruschetta, zucchini flowers, arancini, marinated olives and fries. Pair these delicious bites with $8 Aperol spritz, espresso martini and negroni, $7.50 craft beer pints, and a range of $6 Fratelli Fresh wine, and it’s the perfect al fresco sundowner session after a winter’s walk along the beach. Over 30 Italian and Australian vinos, and a range of draught and bottled beers from Australian and international breweries are also available.

Indulgent lunches are taken care of with the popular three-course, share-style Festa Italiana, including two hours of replenishable drinks, available every day ($79pp). Guests can enjoy the full Fratelli Fresh experience with friendly table service, or conveniently order using the me&u ‘tap and pay’ console on their table. Home and office delivery are available via Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
