HONEY has officially launched in Sydney’s Darling Square precinct. Inspired by the nightlife of Seoul, HONEY is serving up the very best in Korean cuisine, with Pocha-style shareable dishes, Korean Fried Chicken with cold beer, soju and Korean-style cocktails.

The venue is the first of its kind to hit Darling Square, with KPOP music and neon lights lighting up the precinct, transporting visitors to the vibrant streets of Seoul.

The menu consists of Korean Fried Chicken options including: soy garlic; sweet chilli; creamy onion; flaming; and jalapeno. Other notable menu items include: spicy grilled pork; Bulgogi Pizza; clam tang soup; Yukhue beef tartare; seafood Ttoek Bokki; and Tonkatsu.

HONEY head chef Jungback Ryu said, “When crafting the menu I was reminiscent of the flavours of Korean street food vendors. It was essential to ensure we were paying homage to the delicious Korean cuisine while ensuring we added our own unique spin on these dishes.”

To compliment the food offering, HONEY offers a wide selection of tap beers, cocktails, soju, wine and their famous Honeycomb Magkoli (Korean Rice Wine). Signature cocktails include: ‘Hand Maiden’ with vodka, lychee liqueur, cranberry, rose and prosecco; ‘Come On Honey’ with white rum, campari, lemon, honey and beer; and ‘Matcha Neko Martini’ with Haku vodka, Hojitcha matcha and coffee liqueur.

HONEY is the latest addition to Bae Dining’s collection of crowd favourite restaurants and joins TOKKI, KOGI, MARBLE and soon to open SOOT in Barangaroo.

HONEY is open from Tuesday – Wednesday 5 – till late & Thursday – Sunday 12 – Till late
