Mother’s Day is almost here! Treat your mum with these delicious lunch at home options!
Hartsyard
Even though Mother’s Day might look a little different to what we’re used to, the wonderful team at Hartsyard have put together a delicious DIY Dinner Pack to help you really impress Mum this weekend.
For just $140, this package is designed to serve 3-4 people and includes the following mouth-watering goodies:
-1 big piece of Hartsyard’s famous Pork Jowl (It will be wood grilled by the restaurant on the day of pick up, all you need to do is to warm it up in the oven)
-1 whole chicken (comes marinated and cooked by Hartsyard, all you need is to caramelise it in the oven)
-Potato Salad (simple garnish with some green shallots and serve)
-Green salad with dressing
-House made chocolate tart with coconut dulce de leche, coconut rum ganache and chocolate glaze
-1 bottle of Moonlit Forest ‘Gloria’ Shiraz, Yarra Valley VIC (Retails for $45 each)
The Mother’s Day DIY Pack is available for pick up at the restaurant or delivery through Deliveroo.
Luke Mangan
This two-course menu will be prepared at Luke’s Kitchen in Waterloo and served ready to make at your home on Mother’s Day, with a video of Luke talking you through the preparation process.
This at-home restaurant experience will feature some of Luke Mangan’s signature share-friendly dishes, championed by Australian produce, with a few of Mangan’s favourites, including chicken wrapped in pancetta, roasted carrots with hazelnutdukkah and truffle mash. Sydney rock oysters and chilled prawns will also be available to add to the package, as well as some of Luke’s signature products, which will definitely surprise that Mum! There is also a limited selection of Luke’s recommended wines available that will be a brilliant accompaniment to the meal.
Cost: Mother’s Day Dining Box $75 per person.

- Bread: Sonoma sourdough dinner roll with Luke’s olive oil
- Main: Roast chicken with prunes, tarragon and pancetta*

Three Blue Ducks
The boys down at Three Blue Ducks want to make sure Mother’s Day is not any less special this year compared to any other. The team has put together a few special offerings to spoil mum for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Breakfast:
Making breakfast as easy as possible, Three Blue Ducks have curated a bespoke hamper featuring delicious treats to brighten Mum’s morning.
Each box contains Iggy’s (Sydney) or The Bread Social (Byron) sourdough and croissants, Ducks Mixed Berry & Davidson Plum Jam, house made cultured butter, fresh fruit, Chow Cacao x Ducks Chocolate, Three Blue Ducks in the Country cookbook, cold-pressed orange juice and a bottle of bubbles.
Boxes are available for collection next weekend in Byron and Bronte, or for extra brownie points the Ducks can even deliver to Mum’s doorstep.

Lunch and Dinner:
Treat mum to a three-course meal for $60 per person with additional drink offerings that can be bundled together.
The feast includes three entrees of Burrata, smoked trout rillette and Iggys or Bread Social sourdough (depending if you are Sydney or Byron), a choice for mains including – whole roasted cauliflower, lamb shoulder, roasted chook or whole baked fish, all the juicy sides are there of course, and even a delicious crumble for dessert. Kids have their own special meal for $15 each and of course, don’t forget the drinks!
No.5 Restaurant
No.5 Restaurant have created two bespoke Mother’s Day packages available for free delivery around Sydney’s Inner West.
With the help of No.5 you can treat mum to a luxurious breakfast in bed, with House made Muesli, Spanner Crab Omelette and a side of bubbles. Or all out with a seafood feast for lunch including Smoked Trout Salad, Baked Whole Fish and a special Mother’s Day dessert to finish. Each package will also include either a 500ml hand cream or body wash, so mum can give herself a little TLC while at home.
The No.5 breakfast package is $60 and the lunch package $80, or if you’re feeling extra generous, treat mum to both for just $120. A bottle of wine can also be added to the lunch package for $20.
