Forget flowers and fancy dinners, Golden Gaytime and Cinnabon have taken their relationship to the next level with the arrival of Junior, a brand-new frozen treat that proves opposites really do attract.
The unlikely couple has officially welcomed their sweet new addition, combining Golden Gaytime’s iconic creamy vanilla and toffee ice cream with Cinnabon’s signature cinnamon and cream cheese flavour. The result is Junior, a 100mL frozen dessert dipped in compound chocolate and finished with a generous coating of crunchy cinnamon biscuit crumb.
And yes, the brands have gone all-in on the baby announcement. Junior was reportedly “born” at the Streets Ice Cream Maternity Ward in Minto, NSW, at 8.08am on Thursday, 6 August, measuring 14cm and weighing a very respectable 100mL. Talk about making an entrance.
But what does Junior actually taste like? Think of it as Golden Gaytime’s cheeky Australian personality meeting Cinnabon’s indulgent American bakery vibes. The creamy centre delivers that familiar cinnamon and cream cheese sweetness, while the chocolate coating and crunchy biscuit crumb bring plenty of texture. It’s sweet, rich and seriously moreish, with the cinnamon giving the classic Golden Gaytime experience a delicious twist.
