Sydney’s rooftop season has officially arrived, and Harper Rooftop Bar is ready to make the most of it.
Sydney’s largest open air rooftop bar has reopened for the spring and summer season, bringing its Level 7 location in the CBD back to life with skyline views, poolside vibes, live DJs, plenty of sunshine friendly cocktails and a seriously tempting new food menu.
Perched above Kimpton Margot Sydney, Harper Rooftop Bar has had a little seasonal refresh, with celebrity chef Luke Mangan creating a brand new snack menu with a tropical twist. Expect hot honey drizzled popcorn, Sydney Rock Oysters served with pineapple mignonette and Cajun prawns with chipotle and pineapple salsa. Basically, the kind of food that makes you want to order one of everything and call it lunch.
The drinks have also received a summer upgrade, with a dedicated Daiquiri Bar pouring everything from classic daiquiris to frozen cocktails, frosé and boozy sorbet pops from Pops By Launch. There’s also a curated selection of sun loving wines for those who prefer their afternoon refreshment in a glass.
And if you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy the view without leaving your four legged friend at home, Harper is one of the CBD’s few dog friendly rooftop venues. So your pooch can join you for the skyline views too.
There’s also a packed calendar of weekly specials to make the most of. Golden Hours runs Wednesday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm, with $15 seasonal spritzes, sashimi plates from $15 and $40 buckets of Balter Cerveza.
Saturdays are all about Rosé All Saturday, with $15 glasses of rosé including French Pink Flamingo and Mumm Sparkling Rosé, plus $15 frosé slushies from midday. Sundays bring Spritzy Sundays, with $18 signature Four Pillars spritzes alongside classics including Aperol, Sarti Rosa and Elderflower spritzes.
Of course, no rooftop summer session would be complete without a soundtrack, and Harper has that covered too. Resident and guest DJs will be spinning every Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 9pm, as well as Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.
Located on Level 7 at 339 Pitt Street, Sydney, Harper Rooftop Bar is open Wednesday to Friday from 4pm to 11pm and Saturday and Sunday from midday to 11pm. Walk ins are welcome, so all you really need to do is round up your friends, find your sunnies and prepare to spend a few hours pretending you’re on holiday.
