Sydney Social 101 was delighted to attend Twentieth Century Fox Films special screening of The Longest Ride, the newest film based off the novel from Nicholas Sparks, directed by George Tillman and written by Craig Bolotin last night at Event Cinemas on George Street.

The Longest Ride is about a love story between a former champion bull rider, Luke and college student, Sophia, who is about to get her dream job working within the art world of New York City which tests their relationship. Sophia and Luke make unexpected connection with Ira, who Luke rescued from a car crash on their first date, while Sophia rescues a box on the passenger side that contains decade’s worth of letters of Ira’s own romance with his beloved wife, Ruth. These beautiful letters and memories inspire the young couple.

We don’t want to give too much away, however what we can say is this is a great chick flick and if you’re looking to fall in love with a cowboy and have a giggle then this is the perfect film for you.

The Longest Ride is out in cinemas April 9th.
