Paddo Inn Is Turning Mondays Into the New Friday With Its New ‘Paddo Nights Inn’ Series

If your idea of a perfect Monday night involves good wine, Italian bites and learning something unexpectedly fascinating, Paddo Inn has just answered your prayers.

Following a year of repeated sell-outs and growing waitlists, the Paddington favourite is expanding its cult experiential events into a monthly Monday night series, launching Paddo Nights Inn from February. And honestly, it’s exactly the kind of mid-week ritual Sydney needs more of.

After selling out events like Tarot & Tannin three times over in 2025, alongside Wine & Crime and Cocktails & Cold Cases, demand made it clear that this wasn’t just a phase. People want experiences. Ones that feel social, a little different, and not wildly expensive.

Enter Paddo Nights Inn: a relaxed, limited-capacity series designed for the socially curious. Each event blends expert-led experiences, three premium wines, and Italian bites from il Baretto, all for $60 per person. Think conversation over performance, atmosphere over hype, and something interesting to talk about on Tuesday morning.

The launch event: Whispers & Wine

The series kicks off on Monday, 16 February with Whispers & Wine, led by psychic medium Angelina. Guests will sip curated wines and enjoy canapés while exploring the history of psychic phenomena, followed by live group readings.

Whether you’re a full believer, a curious sceptic, or simply a believer in good wine, this is an invitation to experience something a little different, without taking it all too seriously.

What’s coming up next

In March, the much-loved Tarot & Tannin returns on Monday, 16 March, hosted by tarot reader Ginny Shearer after multiple sell-outs last year. Expect an introduction to tarot paired with Italian favourites like homemade focaccia al rosmarino and rigatoni alla Norma, plus plenty of wine to ease into the experience.

Then in April, Stars & Sips lands on Monday, 13 April, with renowned astrologer Marcus D guiding guests through the history of astrology, star signs and birth charts. Wine and food flow throughout, because this is still very much a Paddo Inn night.

Why it works

Paddo Inn has quietly become one of Sydney’s most thoughtful cultural hubs. These nights aren’t about being loud or over-produced. They’re about connection, curiosity and giving people a reason to actually leave the house on a Monday.

Low-pressure, high-quality, and genuinely interesting. Consider this your new favourite way to start the week.
