PROST, SYDNEY! Solotel Brings Munich to Your Favourite Pubs This Oktoberfest

If you’ve been craving bratwurst, beer, and a good excuse to don your lederhosen, this is it. This spring, Solotel is bringing Munich to your local with Oktoberfest celebrations across six of its iconic Sydney pubs — and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest (and booziest) events of the season.

In partnership with 4 Pines Brewing Co, venues including Public House Petersham, The Sackville, The Erko, The Marly, The Courthouse, and Bridgeview Hotel are set to transform into buzzing Bier Halls for one massive day (and week) of Bavarian cheer — no international flight required.

🍺 What to Expect

It’s all the Oktoberfest energy, minus the jet lag:

  • 4 Pines’ limited-edition Festbier, flowing from the taps
  • Hot pretzel buns with bratwurst and sauerkraut ($18)
  • Freshly baked salted pretzels with cheese dip ($10)
  • A line-up of German beverages, from schnapps to crisp white wines
  • Plus, you can snag your own 500ml Oktoberfest stein for $15 — including your first pour of Festbier.

Add in traditional games, Oom Pah bands, and the kind of good-time energy Solotel venues are known for, and you’ve got yourself one unmissable Saturday.

🎉 The Main Event — Saturday, 18 October

Each venue is putting its own spin on the celebrations:

  • The Sackville, Rozelle – Kicking off at 11am, the car park transforms into an open-air bier hall with live music and outdoor party vibes.
  • Public House Petersham – The newly expanded beer garden will be buzzing from midday with all the Bavarian cheer you can handle.
  • The Marly, Newtown – Party starts at 8pm with an Oom Pah band before the DJs take over until late.
  • The Courthouse & The Erko – Expect live tunes, Oom Pah appearances, and plenty of bratwurst to go around.

Meanwhile, The Sackville and Bridgeview Hotel will keep the Bavarian spirit going all week (13–19 Oct), while The Marly keeps the steins clinking from 12–18 Oct with themed food and drink specials.
