Sydney Dog Lovers, Clear Your Calendars: Pups In Pubs Is Returning This Long Weekend

As someone who firmly believes dogs make almost every situation better, I’m pretty confident this might be one of the cutest events happening across Sydney this King’s Birthday long weekend.

BrewDog South Eveleigh is teaming up with Street Paws Festival and Pupsy to host Pups In Pubs, transforming the popular brewery into a dog-loving paradise for one afternoon only.

Taking place on Sunday 7 June from 12pm–3pm, the event is bringing together adorable pups, market stalls, treats, giveaways and what is sure to be some very serious competition in the Best Dressed Pup Competition.

And honestly, if you’ve ever spent more time choosing an outfit for your dog than yourself, this is your moment.

The afternoon will feature a range of dog-focused market stalls including:

🐾 Furever Pawsome (treats and wellness products)
🐾 Furrific Pet Accessories
🐾 Country Companion Animal Rescue

There’ll also be free treat samples, giveaways and plenty of opportunities to spoil your four-legged best friend while enjoying a relaxed afternoon with fellow dog lovers.

The Best Dressed Pup Competition kicks off at 2pm, with pawrents encouraged to dress their dogs in their finest outfits and let them strut their stuff.

Beyond the puppy action, BrewDog will also be serving up its usual winning combination of craft beers, burgers and good vibes, with live music from 3pm helping round out the afternoon.

Whether you’re a proud dog owner, a self-confessed dog obsessive or simply someone who can’t walk past a puppy without stopping to say hello, this feels like the perfect excuse to get out and about this long weekend.

Because let’s be honest, there are very few things better than spending a Sunday afternoon surrounded by dogs.
