Happy Bastille Day for July 14th! Get Frenchy and celebrate the Fête nationale with these Bastille celebrations!
Bistro Moncur will be hosting the very finest celebration of all things French. The incredibly ingenious chefs at Bistro Moncur, Mark Williamson and Jon Trouillet have created a four course plat du jour menu that represents a tour of France. With each French inspired dish epitomising different regions throughout France. Chefs have also curated a selection of fine French wines to accompany the four courses, which will be a celebration of Australian flavours paired with traditional French cooking style.
Tickets are $140 per person with the option of adding matching wines for an additional cost of $55 per person.

MONDAY $36 Beef cheek, red wine jus, bone marrow, pistou and Lyonnaise potato galette
TUESDAY $36 Confit duck, le puy lentils, glazed Brussel sprouts, sauternes currents
WEDNESDAY $36 Bouillabaisse , rouille (red mullet, prawn, mussel ,scallop)
THURSDAY $24 Oven baked Le conquant Camembert with roasted grapes organic walnut bread

Friday July 14th – Bastille Day degustation dinner at Felix.
Explore France one dish at a time at Felix, with specials every night of the week inspired by different regions with a matched wine. Guests can also sip on Ruinart Rosé all week long with $20 flutes or $120 bottles.
$180 includes six courses of traditional French dishes, with a complimentary glass of Ruinart Rosé on arrival.
$250 six courses of traditional French dishes, a complimentary glass of Ruinart Rosé on arrival, and matching wines with each course.
Friday July 14 – Lunch and Dinner – A French Feast from the Fred’s fireplace.
$150 includes a decadent and classically French feast designed by Danielle Alvarez, accompanied by Grand Cru wines from classic French Appellations.
The Chicken Shop will give a French twist to its staples, including a brie and black truffle baguette and comte and glazed ham baguette, while salads are served up Roquefort, Perigord and Nicoise style. The French inspired menu will be available all week long (10th-14th July).
