Cinco de Mayo Star Wars Fiesta
What happens when you cross a Mexican Fiesta and Star Wars? The Cinco de Mayo Star Wars Fiesta at Imperial Hotel in Erskineville, of course! Labelled as the biggest Cinco de Mayo event in the world outside North America, this dress up party will be filled with poncho wearing Princess Leias and mustachioed Darth Vaders.
There will be two separate dance areas and DJs all night, fun games, surprise shows, Mexican beer specials, Cantina Movil Mexican food pop-up, Latino DJs, an awesome tequila bar thanks to Sauza, frozen margaritas, piñatas, Star Wars cocktail specials and prizes and giveaways to be won. SoCal Neutral Bay
SoCal Neutral Bay will once again be leading the Cinco De Mayo fiestas and celebrating all things Mexican on Thursday May 5th with tequila and tacos galore.
SoCal will be bringing back it’s legendary Taco Roulette, where you and your amigos can get a plate of four tacos for $16, and run the risk of consuming the secret super duper hot taco that is sure to blow your head off. Wash the pain away with buckets of 4 Coronas for $25 and $10 Tommy’s Margaritas. They will also be serving up $4 baja fish and steak tacos and $12 Sriracha chicken and pork al pastor quesadillas.

This is Nacho Average Fiesta! El Loco Slip Inn and El Loco Excelsior will be partying it up in true Mexican style over four fiesta filled days (Thursday 5th – Sunday 8th May), presented by Olmeca Altos Tequila.

The 2016 Mad Mex Big Burrito Challenge created in honour of Cinco de Mayo is on again and they’re calling on all brave amigos to def’eat a one kilo burrito in one sitting. Not only will you walk away a loco legend, you’ll also score an authentic Mexican wrestling mask. In-store from Monday 2nd May, all Australians are invited to conquer the big burrito. Simply head into any Mad Mex store across the nation, take down your one kilo burrito challenger then show one of the luchadores your receipt and foil when you have polished it off.
Made with the same fresh ingredients as a regular burrito, the big burrito is double the size and double the fun!
