This year Sydney’s innovative retail hub, The Galeries, makes Christmas creative and personalised. GIFTED will debut from now until 2nd January, inviting shoppers to engage their creative talents and make Christmas personal. Supporting and encouraging artists from the local community is an ongoing commitment for The Galeries as it continues to blur the boundaries of the conventional retail experience, combining contemporary art with cutting edge technology.

Pimp Your Paper
In partnership with Lenovo, The Galeries have enlisted the talents of four emerging street artists (Bianca Beers, Cherie Buttons, Furry Little Peach and Ox King) to Pimp Your Paper at the pop-up wrapping station on Ground Floor. Everyone who spends over $100 at The Galeries will be able to personalise their paper using Lenovo’s latest YOGA book.
Immersive Gift Guide
With an alternative take on the traditional gift guide, each of The Galeries four laneways will be transformed by Gifted artists into a visual wish list with illustrations of gifts available from The Galeries retailers.
Instagram Vending Machine
The festive season is all about giving, and The Galeries is no exception. Take a picture of any product on your wish list from a shop in The Galeries, visit the Instagram vending machine, click vend to collect your unique code, post your picture on Instagram hashtagging #Gifted and your unique code to find out if you’ve won the item, there will be one winner each day and consolation prizes for everyone else!
Creative Christmas
Using Lenovo’s YOGA book customers are invited to flex their artistic skills and create their own masterpiece for entry to win a YOGA Book each week of Gifted. Simply visit the ‘The Garden of Inspiration’ where stationery, scrapbooks and crafting materials wait in abundance ready to inspire your entry and help you get creative.
After busily shopping for Chrissy pressies and designing customised gift wrap, shoppers can re-energise by enjoying the delicious dining delights from Lotus at The Galeries, Yayoi and Grill’d, all open till late to help recharge shopper batteries.
