The Rosé Street Fest at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is back for its second year this October, turning Military Road pink for a day of crisp wines, live music and good times in the spring sunshine.

On Sunday 27 October more than 20 wineries and wine suppliers will take over Military Road with pop-up tasting experiences by the Bay. Armed with Rosé tasting glasses (free with pre-purchased tickets), visitors can wander through the festival sipping the delights of Gilbert wines, AIX, Freeman Vineyard, Mirabeau and many more wine merchants from around the globe. There’ll be Blossom Rosé Sparkling Apple Cider pouring, Proud & Punch is sampling its fruity coconut pops as a cooling palate cleanser and the Watsons Bay street food cart will have a rosy makeover piled high with pink desserts and frosé for guests to sample.

Photo moments are everywhere at the Rosé Street Fest including the Amalia swing at Château Roquefeuille’s stall – lift your glass to say cheers and snap the perfect Instagram shot! Bring your pup to the Bone Dry Rosé’s stand and the pooch-loving winery will give you a Polaroid memento and free piccolo to take home. Or mix wine and style at fashion brand Mink Pink’s giant claw machine testing your aim to scoop up sunglasses, discount codes and the chance to win a $1000 wardrobe.

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel has curated a line-up of music and entertainment running alongside the road of Rosé. Acoustic musicians are playing a chilled soundtrack from 11am, and at 3pm the tempo ramps up when the Aperol DJ van arrives to pump out summer tunes until closing time.

Gather a group together, pack a picnic rug and settle by the sea with a glass of something pink. The Rosé Street Fest has a one-person drinks package with nine tasting tokens and reusable glass, or the BFF package with 18 tokens and two glasses for friends to ‘split and sip’ throughout the day. Visitors can leave the car at home and catch the bus to Watsons Bay from Sydney CBD and the east, or arrive by ferry from the CBD or Manly. This year’s festival runs for an additional two hours from 11am to 7pm. Rosé all day!
