Warm up this Winter with these delicious Winter Wamers that will heat you up from the inside out!
As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, The Ternary Restaurant on Darling Harbour is now offering a trio of hearty winter warmer dishes to be enjoyed against the spectacular backdrop of the iconic Sydney Harbour.
The first offering: a cheese board of local and imported cheeses, quince paste and walnut bread and bottle of McWilliam’s 480 2015 Shiraz Wine for just $49. The second offering is the curry (Penang Prawn Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala or Rendy’s Rendang) of the day paired with a glass of rosé for $35. The final offering from The Ternary’s ‘Winter Warmer’ selection is the definition of hearty and indulgent. The finest Wagyu Rump is served on a bed of potatoes and spinach with a choice of the following sauces; shallot red wine, green peppercorn, mushroom, truffle mustard butter or garlic herb butter. Enjoy this dish with a pint of Furphy Ale or a glass of wine for just $49.
One of the most traditional dishes Italy has to offer straight from the coastal region of Recco, Italy is the La Focaccia Con Formaggio Di Recco. This phenomenal dish is the ultimate comfort food, consisting of thin layers of dough that are filled with indulgent, creamy Italian Stracchino cheese.
With the intent of showcasing Italian cuisine at its finest and with the truffle season in full swing, ReccoLab has combined this incredible ingredient with ReccoLab’s renowned ‘La Focaccia Con Formaggio Di Recco. Introducing the ‘Molto Buona’ which includes Prosciutto di San Daniele and is topped with Black Tasmanian truffle flakes, this is a luxury comfort food if there ever was one. Sourcing Black Tasmanian truffles from the ‘truffle king’, Josh Rea of Gourmet Life, ReccoLab pays homage to one of the most premium ingredients on the market in a more casual way than we are used to.
