Vivid Sydney has announced it will open the unused Wynyard Station tunnels to the public for the very first time with Dark Spectrum, a 900m immersive experience hidden beneath the busy streets of Sydney’s CBD.
Dark Spectrum is a world-first immersive journey of eight rooms illuminated with perfectly choreographed world-class technology and light that set a beautiful and dynamic musical soundtrack and a must-see event for Vivid Sydney this year.
The immersive journey mimics the ‘human experience’ through life, with each room representing a different human experience and associated colour. The unforgettable event, Dark Spectrum, curated by Mandylights and in partnership with Sony Music and Culture Creative, will occur every night of the festival in the Wynyard Tunnels and is a ticketed entry event. Dark Spectrum is part of Vivid Sydney’s 300+ line-up of mesmerizing displays of colour, shape and pattern celebrating this year’s theme of ‘Vivid Sydney, naturally’ – delivering festival-goers the biggest and most breathtaking Vivid Sydney festival yet.
