There’s a new collab in town, with two of the most iconic names in the game – MCoBeauty and Cadbury Dairy Milk – officially crossing the aisle divide. And, we’re low-key losing our mind over it.
From exactly 9am today, Wednesday 5 August, Aussies will be able to shop a chocolate bar you can wear on your face, and a beauty range that tastes better than it has any right to. (Wait. well, not literally – we took a bit of creative liberty with that switch. Please don’t actually eat the eyeshadow).
The collab is exclusive to Woolworths, runs nationwide, and it is genuinely one of the most unexpected brand mash-ups we’ve seen all year.
A Little Bit Cheeky, A Little Bit Choc-y
Picture this: the confectionery aisle and the beauty aisle had a baby, and that baby is chaotic, colourful, and extremely giftable. Cadbury Dairy Milk and MCoBeauty didn’t just slap their logos on a shared product – they fully swapped creative DNA.
Cadbury dropped a brand-new Watermelon flavoured Chocolate Block, directly inspired by MCoBeauty’s cult-favourite Watermelon Glow skin care range. Meanwhile, MCoBeauty clapped back with an entire chocolate-themed beauty collection, channelling everything playful and indulgent about Dairy Milk into makeup form.
As Lucy Robinson, Head of Marketing at MCoBeauty, put it, the brand has always believed beauty should be fun and a little unexpected – and as the number one makeup brand in Woolworths, this collab was the perfect way to surprise shoppers and shake up the usual beauty aisle experience.
