Last week Global fashion retailer H&M launched its Sydney flagship store- one of the biggest in the world – at 150 Pitt Street Mall. Celebrities jetted in from across the globe including the divine Solange Knowles, who strutted the red carpet and electrified the crowd with an exclusive DJ set; and we were lucky enough to attend.
The VIP party set the scene for the store’s official opening which was on Saturday 31st October. With the buzz building for one of the parties of the year, 1,000 guests including celebrities, fashion fok, industry and Sydney social faces walked the 60 metre red carpet, stopping for interviews with Jordan and Zac Stenmark and posing for photographs.
Upon entering, we enjoyed flowing champagne, different cocktails on all three levels and canapés before exploring the 5,000 sq m. store and shopping the latest women’s, men’s, kids’ and home collections. Undoubtedly a highlight of the night were the musical performances. Solange Knowles looked stunning in her H&M x Balmain outfit and entertained us with a fantastic DJ performance. Local favourites Flight Facilities, Cassette, Charlie Chux and KLP also added to the celebratory vibe.
H&M’s flagship store is now open in Pitt Street Mall, if you haven’t had the chance to go check it out this weekend make sure you pay it a visit soon!
