If you’re the kind of person who believes Biscoff makes pretty much everything better, prepare to take your obsession to the freezer.
One of the world’s most loved biscuit brands has officially made its biggest frozen launch in Australia to date, bringing two brand new ways to get your Biscoff fix to supermarket and convenience store freezers nationwide.
And considering Biscoff has become a bit of a phenomenon in Australia, it feels like a very natural next step. The caramelised biscuit has inspired more than two billion TikTok views globally, while searches for Biscoff and related terms top 200,000 a month in Australia. From cheesecakes and milkshakes to pancakes and homemade desserts, it has well and truly moved beyond the biscuit aisle.
Now, it’s time to eat it frozen.
First up is the Biscoff Sandwich, which is essentially everything I want in a grab and go dessert. Smooth Biscoff frozen dessert is sandwiched between two authentic Biscoff biscuits, giving you that familiar caramelised crunch alongside a creamy, cold centre.
Then there’s the Biscoff 425ml Tub, which is probably the one I’d be keeping in the freezer at home. It combines creamy Biscoff frozen dessert with generous swirls of Biscoff and crunchy biscuit pieces, making it dangerously easy to justify just one more spoonful.
The best part is that you don’t need to wait for a special occasion to get stuck in. The Sandwich is perfect for when you want an afternoon pick me up or post dinner treat without committing to an entire tub, while the Tub is made for those nights when you have settled onto the couch and suddenly realise something sweet is absolutely essential.
The new Biscoff frozen range is rolling out nationally from September, with the four pack Sandwich and 425ml Tub available at Coles, Woolworths and independent supermarkets. The Sandwich will also be available individually at petrol and convenience retailers, along with the 425ml Tub.
The four pack and Tub are priced at an RRP of $11.50 at supermarkets, while individual Sandwiches are $5.60 and the Tub is $12.50 at petrol and convenience retailers.
So, if your freezer currently has a suspicious lack of Biscoff in it, I’d say that’s about to change. Because while the original biscuit will always have a place in the pantry, Biscoff frozen dessert might just be its new favourite home.
