Bondi institution Bondi Hardware has a lot going on this Summer! They’ve introduced a new head chef, new summer menu and are also popping up at the Bondi Markets on a regular basis!
Newly appointed Head chef Elliot Anders trained at Bistro Moncur under James Privett, who is now Applejack Hospitality’s Group Executive Chef, and then worked with Matt Kemp at Balzac before a stint at Fratelli Fresh. Most recently he owned and operated cafes and a catering business before taking the helm at Hardware.
The new summer menu Elliot has created sticks with some of the old favourites such as the famous Hardware Sliders, but also introduces some fresh new additions like spicy tuna with avocado and coconut quinoa or pork belly with cauliflower, raisin and celery.
And every fortnight from Sunday 15th November onwards Hardware will be at the Bondi Markets with their pop up Slider Bar, serving a choice of three mouth-watering sliders (two for $10 or one for $6) (1) smashed egg, aioli and brekkie relish (2) prawn, avocado and chipotle remoulade (3) beef, cheese, pickles and tomato jam – as well as seasonal fresh fruit punch ($4).
