Today The Swisse Color Run hosted the first event for 2015 at Sydney Olympic Park! Over 12,000 Color Runners walked, ran, danced and skipped their way through Happiest 5k on the Planet!
There were mountains of colour, combined with sunshine, smiles and all kinds of fun!
Color Runners arrived in white running gear earlier today, completing the 5km course around the Sydney Olympic Park precinct today – Sunday, 8 February at the The Swisse Color Run. Participants were showered with Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink coloured powder and enjoyed the Purple Wet Zone (100% natural, food dye) as they made their way through the colourful course!
Following the fun run with a twist, there was a colour celebration at the epic ‘Finish Festival’ with music, activities and expos in a family-friendly atmosphere – not to mention the stunning color throws. Around 4,000kg of colour powder in total was used across the day!
Since this event debuted in Melbourne back in November 2012, more than 340,000 Australians have earned their stripes as ‘Color Runners’.
All our attention now turns to the launch or The Color Run Night in Sydney on 16 May. Rainbows are going to ignite the sky over Sydney Harbour.
