If you’ve never experienced a Silent Disco before then you are seriously missing out on some great fun – and the Eye Live Silent Disco is a particularly momentous way to introduce yourself to to this mutely marvelous entertainment!
Basically a silent disco is a dance party but instead of taking place amid blaring speakers, revelers wear special headphones to listen to the pumping tunes meaning the events can take place in venues normally restricted for noise. The Eye Live Silent Disco has been brought back to Sydney Tower Eye by overwhelming demand after a sellout inaugural event in January. Held 250m above Sydney, Eye Live is the Southern Hemisphere’s highest Silent Disco party, giving party goers exclusive after hours to enjoy the 360-degree views of the city lights while dancing the night away.
It’s a hilarious way to go crazy to music – with three DJs playing simultaneously, dancers can choose between Hip Hop, 80s/90s/00s singalong throwbacks and Top 40 hits on supplied headphones. There is nothing funnier than seeing a bunch of other people hit the drop of their particular fave and go crazy – completely at odds with what you are listening to.
