Beach also features a park kiosk for casual diners and passers by, where they can grab the signature fish and chips or a quick takeaway coffee from from local Byron roasters, ice cream or a deliciously healthy snack. At dinner, Beach is transformed into the perfect place to soak up the magnificent sunsets over clarkes beach, while enjoying delicious and innovative dishes sourced from the very best local and fresh produce.
Highlights include the salad of Chicken, grilled peach, endive, frizzy and buffalo mozzarella which combines an array of perfectly balanced flavours to surprise and delight. Crab Meat Spaghetti is another hero dish complemented by the rich flavours of chilli and garlic to truly satisfy.
An absolute culinary gem featuring locally sourced produce, all within a 100m radius of the grounds. These gastronomical geniuses even forgo the ever-popular avocado if its not in season and grown locally! It’s a place for lovers of real food in a relaxed beautiful setting, where the service is stellar and friendly, with staff knowing the menu back to front down to the smallest detail.
Head chefs Darren Robertson and Mark Labrooy use the best local produce to create dishes with impeccable flavours from ingredients which are grown on-site or from regional producers – with produce being predominantly organic, chemical-free and meats being grass-fed and free range.
The menu changes seasonally with all dishes being truly unique and impeccable. Heroes include Heirloom tomatoes with Byron Bay mozzarella, almond cream, pickled onion and charred bread. Local line-caught fish brandade, bottarga, preserved lemon and lavoche is another go-to dish and the School Prawns are a classically satisfying starter. The signature Farm Salad is absolutely delicious, using the freshest local vegetables, it’s the perfect accompaniment to any meal.

Balcony Bar & Oyster Co. is the newest dining experience to hit Byron Bay town. Just meters from legendary Main Beach, Balcony sits perched atop the buzzing Byron streets and dreamy beaches, offering a unique menu which truly captures the essence of Byron. Headed up by Award Winning Executive Chef and Owner Sean Connolly, the casual yet sophisticated menu is vibrant and contemporary – consisting of an array of fresh dishes created from locally sourced and sustainable produce. Seafood lovers can suck on oysters from Balcony’s very own Oyster Bar, which includes a selection of carefully and expertly shucked fresh Australian varieties.
Balcony is the place to be when the sun goes down, with its extensive drinks list featuring a myriad of local and imported beer, wine and sparkling that perfectly complement the menu. The notable cocktail selection includes much-loved classics such as the Lychee Martini and Bloody Mary jugs designed to share. Cocktail cravers who are after something unique should look no further than the Chilli Coconut with Chilli infused Pampero Dark Rum served in a fresh, whole coconut and Dark Side Of The Melon has kick, boasting Elderflower liqueur shaken with the unlikely partnering of watermelon, basil and a touch of pepper.
