Estate Kitchen Creative Director, Matthew Butcher has announced that he is collaborating with friend and celebrity chef Khanh Ong for a dining experience like no other on Thursday the 10th of June.

Khanh, the former MasterChef contestant and current co-owner of The George on Collins in Melbourne will be joined by culinary mastermind Matthew Butcher who will be putting the classic Estate Kitchen spin on some complementary dishes.

The Khanh and Butcher restaurant collaboration is set to feature a heady blend of exotic Asian flavours over four sumptuous sharing courses which won’t be forgotten. Guests will enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival and two specially curated cocktails during their meal. Premium wines will also be available to purchase on the night.

The menu will feature house favourites from both chefs venues. Think of the likes of kingfish, rose water nuoc mam, toasted coconut, kaffir lime / micro-coriander for starters, green crystal dumplings, peanuts & sichuan chilli oil for entrée, and bourbon & coke braised short rib for something more substantial. The delicious dinner will be topped off with cardamom sticky date, salted whisky caramel and orange chantilly for the sweet tooths.

Estate Kitchen launched in 2020 and has quickly become renowned as one of Sydney’s favourite relaxed beachside dining destinations. Estate Kitchen is a part of three micro-venues (including Terrace, Taqueria and Shutters) and falls under the same roof located underneath the Crowne Plaza in Coogee.

The special culinary dinner will take place on Thursday 10th June from 6pm – 10pm.
