Starting with an additional CBD address which will expand Tequila Mockingbird’s current delivery catchment to the Inner West, Inner South and Lower North Shore, then a Darlinghurst virtual kitchen to follow and more to come, allowing even more Sydneysiders to get their favourite Latin American food and drink fix. COVID-19 has accelerated a changing food movement and Tequila Mockingbird is embracing the future of hospitality with its network of virtual kitchens.
Home delivery will remain exclusively through their own channels, rather than via traditional food delivery partners such as Uber Eats, enabling them to keep their staff employed during these difficult
times.
Tequila Mockingbird has also launched an all new At Home Restaurant Experience, and this is no ordinary takeaway menu. Incredible food and drink should be celebrated with the same energy that
went into making it. Tequila Mockingbird is bringing the restaurant experience to your home, with the notion of encouraging self-care, fun, and shared experiences with loved ones, even in lockdown.
You can now enjoy their signature Latin American soundtrack with dinner. Along with your food order you’ll receive a link to their specially curated playlist featuring lively samba beats, sultry salsa, and Mexican mariachi.
For home-mixologists, cocktails are made fresh to order (no pre batching!) and each bottle comes with a QR code linking to a video tutorial on achieving the perfect restaurant pour at home, led by Executive Bartender Mark Crawford. Tequila Mockingbird is also selling Patron cocktail kits so you can practice your home bartending and let your bubble feel like they’re out in a bar for the night! If cocktails aren’t your thing, the wine and beer selection showcases a wide range of boutique wine & beverages sourced from restaurant suppliers that often don’t reach the bottle shop shelves.
