Build-A-Bear Workshops:
Guests of all ages can join in the magic of Build-A-Bear’s famous ‘Heart Ceremonies,’ held on the first Saturday of every month. During this heartwarming experience, participants make a wish on a small heart and place it inside their new furry friend. The option to personalize with a “Build-A-Sound” recording adds an unforgettable touch to this bear-building moment.

Workshops are led by Build-A-Bear ‘bear masters’ during two sessions at 11:30am and 2pm, and each includes a teddy bear. After the workshop, guests can indulge in the Teddy Bear High Tea Buffet, featuring a delightful spread of themed treats like Sheraton Honey & Sesame Chicken Karaage, Smoked Salmon Blini with Honey Ricotta, and Teddy Bear Sheraton Crème Brûlée infused with honey from the hotel’s rooftop bees.

Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is transforming its iconic buffet-style high tea into the ultimate Teddy Bear High Tea experience, featuring whimsical teddy-themed treats and a cuddly bear to take home (one bear per two guests). The menu, crafted by the hotel’s talented chefs, includes delights such as Sheraton Honey & Sesame Drizzled Chicken Karaage, Smoked Salmon Blini with Honey Ricotta, teddy bear-shaped cupcakes, macarons, chocolate tartlets, and Teddy Bear Sheraton Crème Brûlée infused with honey from the hotel’s rooftop bees.

The high tea buffet will be available every Saturday at 11:00am and 1:30pm. For those who prefer a more classic experience, the hotel’s regular high tea will be offered six days a week, adding a playful bear twist with treats like finger sandwiches, wild mushroom and spinach quiche, teddy bear cake pops, teddy honey almond cake, and a variety of scones. In-room high tea stands are also available.
