That time of year has definitely snuck up on us and wow, is it ever looking fantastic! Now in its’ ninth year the Hunter Valley Gardens are again transforming into a sparkling Christmas Light Spectacular with millions of festive lights bigger and better than ever.
All our favourite creations are back at the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights, including Cinderella’s Castle, Alice in Wonderland, the North Pole scene as well as brand new displays including the Fairy Garden, the Music Room with instruments and musical notes displays, Santa’s Plane which stretches over 5 metres wide and the Pink Unicorn to discover. The delicious Candy Land has also had Christmas makeover and will have some new treasures for you to discover.
Don’t forget when you strolling through the lights to step inside the giant Santa Dome or slip into the Arcade Alley to play some old school games. Roaming entertainment and carollers will be there nightly from 6.30 – 9.30. There is also a huge selection of food and beverage stalls open 6.30 – 10.00 pm to keep your night full of eat, drink and be merry’cheer.
To keep the kids entertained along with all the incredible lights there’s a jumping castle and the Little Scallywagz will be performing every night at 7pm and 8pm with their energetic and upbeat fun shows. But best of all is definitely the visits from Santa Claus in between his busy schedule with the elves at North Pole. Get your photo taken with the big jolly man by Jarrod and Carrie Photography in Santa’s Cave, or take a quick seat with him to read out your Christmas wish list. Have you been naughty or nice?
