Sydneysiders, next Wednesday at The Soda Factory is the place to be!
Show your support and help raise some much needed funds for the victims of the Nepal earthquake disaster by attending The Soda Factory’s Covers for a Cause – 90s for Nepal. What a great excuse to put your dancing shoes!?
The evening will have a 90’s theme with over 25 of Sydney’s most prolific artists, performers and musicians coming together to cover a range of hit jams from the much loved era.
Live music will kick off from 7pm, featuring performances from the likes of Darryl Beaton, Mr Wilson, Amali Ward, Jeremy Gregory… to name just a small portion of the smorgasbord of talent appearing.
The Soda Factory will donate a gold coin from all food and drink items sold over the bar to The Nepal Red Cross Society. Soda goers will also have the opportunity to donate freely to this important organisation throughout the night.
The Nepal Red Cross Society has grown to be the largest humanitarian organisation in Nepal, with its network of District Chapters extended in each of the 75 districts of the country. Their volunteers and resources are a vital in providing aid to the people of Nepal.
In true Soda Factory style, the stage will play host to an incredible number of Sydney’s best musicians coming together for one huge jam session to show their support for Nepal.
The live soundtrack for the evening is provided by Andre Kaman and The Soda House Band consisting of; Tim Lockwood (Guitar), Dom Cabrera (Drums), Matt Hunter (Bass) and Ben Sekali (Keys).
Doors open at 5pm and the Soda kitchen will be rustling up a Nepalese inspired gourmet hot dog for the occasion. They’ll also be serving up classics from their famous diner menu including $1 Hot Wings with Blue Cheese Dip and $10 Buckets of Fried Chicken as part of their weekly Fat Bubba’s Chicken Wednesdays – so delicious!
