Ready For The Future sustainability commitments:
1. Clothes made smarter
We’re committed to making our clothes in a smarter way. Cotton and polyester are the materials we use the most across the group, and by 2025, all our polyester and cotton will be recycled or more sustainable.
2. Textile waste improved
Building on the work we’ve done to divert textile waste in our own operations from landfill, we’re now extending this to our UK supply chain. We’re also committed to developing different ways for customers to recycle their garments and investigating resale platforms to keep clothes in use for longer.
3. Packaging made smarter
We’ve made progress on key types of packaging, for example, our dispatch bags now contain over 80% recycled plastic. We’re working with our suppliers to ensure a consistent approach across all our garment packaging, and we’ll keep exploring more sustainable, recyclable packaging materials.
4. Communicating our progress
We’re committed to being transparent about our goals. We’ll be sharing progress towards our commitments regularly on boohooplc.com.
This is just the start for the brand, the agenda for change will be ongoing, extensive and transparent.
