Who doesn’t love a boozy dessert and a caffeine fix all in one! SESIÓN Tequila and uber-cool bakery, Humble have collaborated to create a one-of-a-kind SESIÓN Tequila Coffee Mocha Cake to celebrate International Coffee Day on Friday, 1 October. The cake will be available at Humble Bakery from 1 October for a limited time.
The cake is made up of layers and textures including almond dacquoise, chocolate ganache, a chocolate sponge to soak up a delicious SESIÓN Tequila Mocha, espresso syrup and a SESIÓN Tequila Mocha cremeux. It’s then layered and covered in torched meringue.
Known for their nostalgia-inducing, cult-class pink finger buns and Basque cheesecake, the “it” dessert of recent years and a fixture at Bodega, Humble Bakery is owned by Elvis Abrahanowicz, Ben Milgate and Joseph Valore, and is their fourth venue on Holt Street, Surry Hills alongside Bodega x Wyno, Porteño and Bastardo. Humble is the team’s first daytime venue and most importantly, bakery.
As any coffee lover knows, drinking coffee is a ritualic and nuanced moment. And much like coffee, SESIÓN Tequila is designed to be savored with each sip and created to be enjoyed over the course of a moment, shared with friends.
SESIÓN Tequila is made in Jalisco, Mexico and is 100% Australian owned. This unique expression of tequila is crafted with the careful sourcing and selection of 100% blue agave, ripened to a minimum of eight years in the ground of the highest grade of plantation. It is crafted with a dynasty of heritage and knowledge – and a commitment to unrivalled taste.
