So, you have a spare day over the Christmas break and you’re looking for a light-hearted film to watch that everyone will agree on? Then look no further.
Annie is a modern adaptation of the broadway musical of the same name. Yes, that musical that everyone knows the songs too, even if you haven’t seen in.
A number of big Hollywood stars helped make the film into its finishes product,being Produced by Jay Z and Will Smith, and staring Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, 11 year old Quvenzhane Wallis and Australia’s own Rose Byrne.
Set in New York, the comedy-musical follows Annie (Wallis) living day-to-day with her foster mum (Diaz) until her life totally changes when millionaire tycoon and mayoral candidate (Foxx) takes Annie in.
