After their epic performances around the country at the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Sydney welcomed back local lads DMA’s for an exclusive gig at the 2016 launch of the Channel [V] Island Parties, joining a who’s who of internationally recognised artists that have graced the stage including Galantis, Mark Ronson, Hill Top Hoods, The Wombats, Charlie XCX, Tonight Alive and Royal Blood.
Monday night saw party-goers and lucky fans take the short boat ride through picturesque Sydney Harbour to floating bar and open-air space The Island, one of Sydney’s coolest and most unique venues,
where the beers, beats and good times were kicking off long before the sun set over the city skyline.
Channel [V] host Danny Clayton worked the crowd into a frenzy right up until the sun went down, the TV cameras started rolling and DMA’s took the stage to play their hit tracks, including “Delete”, “Lay down” and “Laced.” The three piece rock outfit lived up to the hype and had the crowd pumping and singing along against the perfect backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
